RE:  DaKine October 2005 Cover, From the Editor:

That cover is way beyond excellent. Please tell our amazing artist, Robert, that I said so.  We have now reached the point with this artist where we can no longer identify which of his covers are the best; so many of them tie for first place.

Loved your captivating cover of  “Da Kine Cupid!” –A real piece of art! My compliments to photographer Richter and to “Barney” for having the balls–and the sense of humor–to pose for it!

Very nice job. I love your concept and execution.  But you’ve succeeded. It’s brilliant! The rain pulls the concept off.  Another great job. Bravo!

About Chicago Hellfire’s Inferno 29:

I was chosen in a competition as the event artist, and my artwork appeared on a variety of souvenir merchandise–the proceeds going to a scholarship fund.  For the first time in 29 years, they ran out of merchandise and had to re-order to satisfy demand!
